I am photographer and multimedia artist working in New England (MA, NH, VT).

My photographs and artistic goals focus deeply on themes of identity, and how the camera - and the subsequent gaze of the viewer - can either transform the real thing in front of the camera into a representation - something new with a new context. Photography is a transformative experience not just for the photographer but for the person in front of the camera as well. Many people struggle with defining and feeling comfortable their public-facing identity. Using photography as a transformative and transgressive act can serve to help people realize their image and their identity. In the studio, I aim to help people realize an image of themselves that shows more of their true identity than we see on the surface - in the real world. In my fine art photography, I use the transformative power of the camera and editing to turn real scenes into images that are reflective of the way I see the world.

I earned a Bachelors Degree in Film Production from Keene State College in 2020, and have traveled through life with my camera since. Since graduating I have earned awards for filmmaking, photography and have had a handful of multimedia works featured in several group exhibitions in Massachusetts and Chicago.
